I got the free download of magic the gathering online on my windows pc but I can't seem to change my avatar. I am only allowed to choose the avatars in my collection and not any of the avatar's needed, or how do I use a custom avatar? How can I resolve this?

Right, you can only choose from avatars in your collection. Yes you need to pay the $5 or whatever it is for the upgrade package in order to trade and build your collection.How do you buy from bots, do I need to subscribe to the full version of the game?
