Could Not Reproduce Fiery Gambit and Tavern Scoundrel

I had Krark's Thumb on the battlefield and Tavern Scoundrel on the battlefield.

I casted Fiery Gambit and chose a valid creature, no answer from opponent, FG starts resolving, i won a flip, it made me chose if i wanted to flip again, and i lost. I never got Tavern scoundrel Trigger, even when i won a flip, which would've let me have 2 treasures for the next spells.

Tavern Scoundrel triggered multiple times as expected in solitaire in the process of resolving Fiery Gambit. I noticed the prompts for Krark's Thumb has been changed since the last time I've used the card in normal game play, could you have flipped two coins and kept the losing result by mistake?
