Bug - Myojin of Cryptic Dreams is not activating. The token can't be taken off so his ability cannot activate.

Based on the screen shot provided you did not have a permanent spell on the stack to have a legal target for the ability to be activated. Myojin of Cryptic Dreams copies permanent spells on the stack and not permanents in play.
