Could Not Reproduce Timer increased for opponent

Doing a friendly league match and at the end of my turn, opponent had 5 secs left on his timer. At the beginning of his turn, his timer reset to 10 secs and counted down. When he shifted to combat phase, his clock was at 6 secs and went back up to 10 again.
