Please allow us to upvote confirmed bugs

I like the new “confirmed bugs” thread as it has cleaned up the many pages of bug reports a bit and made things a bit easier to quickly parse.

However, I’m not a fan of how we can no longer upvote confirmed bugs, and all of the upvotes those bugs had have been removed. One of the original purposes of the upvote system was to gauge how many players were getting impacted by bugs, so that Daybreak management could prioritize fixes.

In fact, over the past year, Daybreak’s managers have repeatedly encouraged players to upvote bugs that they faced in game. Deleting those upvotes and making it so that we can no longer upvote a confirmed bug violates the whole spirit of the upvote system for bugs.

Of course, only confirmed bugs are going to get a lot of votes… It’s a meaningless metric if they’re only captured for unconfirmed bugs.

It is fixed now though when we moved the forums votes were lost on them. We have logged all of the items so we are still keeping track of everything.
