"Ok" key binding no longer selects zero targets for "up to one target" activated abilities

Between August 12 and August 16, the following functionality was changed:

Before August 12, when activating an activated ability that specified "up to one target", clicking the "Pass Priority/Ok" key binding would select zero targets (without requiring moving the mouse to the far-left side of the screen to click "Done"). The text rendered in the action box on the left was "Choose up to one target <TARGET_TYPE>. (Click Done to continue without choosing a target.)"

After August 16, when activating an activated ability that specifies "up to one target", clicking the "Pass Priority/Ok" key binding does NOT select zero targets (and does require moving the mouse to the far-left side of the screen to click "Done"). The text rendered in the action box on the left is unchanged from before: "Choose up to one target <TARGET_TYPE>. (Click Done to continue without choosing a target.)"

There are many widely played cards that can involve needing to select zero targets many times in a game ( Wrenn and Six, Yawgmoth Thran Physician, Karn the Great Creator, Teferi Time Raveler, The Wandering Emperor ). Particularly for cards that involve repetitive actions for executing combo (like Yawgmoth or Karn), this additional requirement to fully move the mouse all the way across the screen from left to right and back again during every single iteration of the loop represents an additional non-ergonomic amount of physical strain to play the game (which previously was not present).

Reverting to the pre-early-August functionality would be a significant quality-of-life improvement for players of decks with any of the above cards. If this change was done to avoid potential feel-bads from players accidentally selecting zero targets when they meant to select one, then that is an understandable user experience and design tradeoff. However, if this change was indeed an intentional decision, I would like this post to represent one voice in support of reverting to the previous functionality.
