Confirmed Not dead after all creates role even if it should fizzle

if the creature that would be returned is no longer in the graveyard upon resolution, mtgo asks that player to attach the role to another creature in play. The role should not be created.

I found another way to demonstrate the bug
When NDAA targets a creature that for any reason does not enter as a creature(in this example it's a The Modern Age//Vector Glider) it creates the token, fails to attach it, then it does not cease to exist.

One of the rulings for NDAA is this:1741987524507.png
which means that the role token should not be created in the first place.
However, there is a new part to this that I discovered

Upon playing a Basilisk Gate, the Wicked token did this. It forces you to select a legal target, regardless of whether that target was returned by NDAA.1741987865526.png
I have reason to believe that any permanent entering triggers this effect, because in game 1 #910257180 of event 276839606, (Please let me know if I'm formatting this wrong) where I originally discovered this bug, the same effect happened when I played an Angelic Renewal, forcing me to attach to an opponent's creature, as I controlled none at the time.
This (thankfully) didn't have a major effect on the game, but was concerning enough to warrant a report
Thanks for reading all of this, and good luck!
