Fixed Homicide Investigator is bugged - it's not triggering when dies a creature which you control, but owned by opponent

I had in play Homicide Investigator and Gravestone Strider, which i played from opponent's cards exiled with spell Outrageous Robbery, so owner of Strider was opponent, but it was under my control. I blocked with Strider to get Clue token due to Homicide Investigator's ability, but nothing triggers, Strider just goes to opponent's grave.

This occured for me with Pull - With Homicide Investigator in play, I cast Pull targeting my opponents Person of Interest and Innocent Bystander. Spell resolves, creatures enter the battlefield, go to attacks, I attack with the creatures. No blocks. Go to end step and the Pull creatures are sacrificed. Homicide Investigator does not trigger on death.
