Freeform Commanders Partner/Companion

I would love to run partners/companion like you can in paper. maybe sideboard companions and then put them in the game or something.

I was building my Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff/Black Lotus partner deck with Lurrus of the Dream Den companion and ran into the same issue. If we could have a little more freedom in Freeform Companion that would be nice. As ZombieCaller42 said it's allowed in paper after all.

Our expectation is that Companions would not work in Freeform Commander - there are technical issues with it that we've not yet solved.
