Was in a game where a player cast a spell triggering Esper Sentinel, and then cast the back side of his commander Slicer, Hired Muscle which triggered the Esper Sentinel again. The Esper Sentinel did not double trigger at any other time.

The double trigger happened on turn 3 of the Slicer player.
