Confirmed Deputy of Detention cannot exile morphs.

Cast a morph, attempted to exile with Deputy of Detention, no prompt to exile permanent came up and permanent didn't exile.

I think the problem here is that it sounds like you were trying to exile your own morph with the Deputy of Detention which can only exile your opponent's nonland permanents.

In solitaire testing the card functions as expected since you are your own opponent, but in a 1v1 match this sounds like correct behavior.

Perhaps, but you can use opponent targeting effects like Duress on yourself and successfully take your own cards, so I don't see how this is any different. Someone else tried this out 1v1 and it didn't work for them, I just tried it solitaire and figured it should still exile it.

This makes it sound like Duress is broken, not the Deputy.

Yeah, to echo Firedrake, you definitely cannot Duress yourself.

May I ask why this was confirmed? Outside of solitaire Deputy of Detention shouldn't be able to target your own permanents. Unless I'm missing something this is correct behavior.
