Confirmed Calamity, Galloping Inferno making token copies of dead creatures

If you destroy a creature that saddles Calamity before Calamity is declared as an attacker, Calamity will still make token copies of that creature. My opponent reached out to me later after a match and has informed me that judges say the tokens should not be created if the creature was killed, and also this is not how the card works on Arena.

Can confirm that in testing Calamity will make tokens of the creature that saddled it, even if that creature isn't in play anymore, and that is not correct behavior.
