I was playing with Ashiok Wicked Manipulator and Bolas's Citadel both on the battlefield and when I tried to cast Pili-Pala and Otherworldly Gaze the game log said I cast the card but the effect did not resolve and then the game skipped forward to the next phase without me hitting okay. Lands and spells that cost no mana like Lotus Bloom seemed to work fine so I'm assuming it is not correctly exiling cards when life is paid to cast with Bolas's Citadel.
