Confirmed Wheel of Sun and Moon stops Oni-Cult Anvil from creating tokens when an artifact is sacrificed

Oni-Cult Anvil should create a Construct token whenever an artifact leaves the battlefield. However, Oni-Cult Anvil does not create a Construct token if Wheel of Sun and Moon is enchanting it's controller and an artifact is sacrificed.
In this screenshot the log shows that Smuggler's Copter was sacrificed via Oni-Cult Anvil's activated ability but no Construct token is visible in the battlefield.

Can confirm in testing that Wheel of Sun and Moon will incorrectly stop Oni-Cult Anvil from making a 1/1 token with it's static ability. Going to the bottom of the library as a replacement effect, while not dying, is still 'leaving the battlefield' as far as what the Oni-Cult Anvil is looking for.
