Confirmed Vexing bauble trigger does not give priority

My Opponent had vexing bauble in play. I cast Force of Vigor for free in their turn. I did not receive priority to counter the vexing bauble trigger.

Appears to work was expected in testing when casting a free spell into Vexing Bauble. Could you have auto yielded to the trigger earlier in the game? A screenshot of the game would be wonderful if possible.
