Confirmed Valiant did not trigger on opponent's turn

As titled. Game actions: opponent's turn 4: opponent casts Plaful Shove targetting Nettle Guard. I play Crumb abd Get It. The Nettle Guard did not trigger and I ended up with a 5/3 instead of a 5/5.

Hi, it seems that Valiant doesn't work always also on the controller's turn, here a screenshot showing this.
When I target my Emberheart Challenger with Snakeskin Veil, only the Prowess trigger goes on the stack.
