There is currently a bug regarding Trinisphere and Desperate Ritual (I can't confirm if it happens with every other arcane spell).
"Splice onto arcane" adds an additional cost to the arcane spell being played so you can get extra effects. I tried to splice 2 arcanes into my spell, adding 2RR (1R for each splice) in costs. Combined with the original 1R cost from Desperate Ritual and minus the reduction given by Ruby Medallion, the total casting cost should be 5 manas. Instead the game is asking me to pay 7 manas because the Trinisphere is bugged and it's applying it's tax first.
