The card from the Warhammer universes beyond set "The First Tyrannic War", First ability of you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield if its mana cost contains "X" it enters with a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the number of lands you control does not work. When attempting to play the card it will enter from the battle field but the counters are not put on the card. I attempted to play both Sporocyst which instantly died due to having no toughness and a tyrant guard in a seperate game but no counters were placed on my creature
