More Info Needed Surge of Salvation no Hexproof

Opponent casts Tishana Tidebinder in response to a StoneForge Mystic activation. I cast Surge of Salvation to get hexproof, but nothing happens.

Cost the game, obviously. What to do?

Tishana's Tidebinder targets an activated/triggered ability, and does not care about the Shroud/Hexproof/Ward the source of the trigger may have. This sounds like correct behavior.
