Amulet Titan is a popular Modern deck, but ever since it commonly incorporates Aftermath Analyst it's unwieldy to play online. Analyst loops require you to put multiple lands into play multiple times, frequently with multiple Amulets in play, which takes ages to put on the stack. I routinely take 10+ minutes comboing off in a match, often I'm close to timing out, and other players report avoiding playing Amulet online entirely because of the issue.
A few years ago, I believe Amulet of Vigor was coded as an explicit exception to the automatically-stack rule. It was when auto-stacking abilities from the same source were first introduced. With two Amulets in play, players used to search for a Boros Garrison and Slayers Stronghold to haste their Titan twice. It required precision from players in stacking their Amulet triggers. Upon feedback from players about this, Amulet was excluded from auto-stacking.
But when "Stack abilities automatically" was first added I believe it was not a togglable feature, which it is now.
The attached screenshot shows an example Analyst stack. There are 20 triggers to place on the stack. The optimal order for the player to place the triggers would be to put Lotus Field and Simic Growth Chamber at the bottom, Amulet triggers in any order, and Urza's Saga triggers on top. The order of Amulet triggers doesn't matter. Being able to put them all on the stack at the same time would go a long way. Placing them one by one can take minutes. If a player could save time by placing the Urza's Sagas triggers in a subpar way, most would gladly take it, as it likely doesn't matter at this point.
The simplest and ideal solution would be to revert Amulet of Vigor to working as usual with "Stack Abilities Automatically".
