Backlog Sinister Possession bug is over a year old and no fix.

Please fix the Sinister Possession bug. It is over a year old now. Today I conceded a game because my opponent's blocking creature did not trigger the Sinister Possession ability that states the blocking creature should force the controller to lose 2 life. It literally ruins my deck!
I have a screenshot of the game, the game number and match number below. I see another two players have also reported the bug. Let's get to fixing this please.
