Hello,

As advised by the support when reporting a total of FOUR games when I have land problems (3 times flooding, 1 time stuck on 1) on a total of 4 leagues, so 1 bad game for 4 normal ones.
Link to the support page, for those who have access : https://help.mtgo.com/hc/en-us/requests/124347?page=1

I understand shuffling a deck is a complicated method, and IRL it's easier as people tend to have lands and non-lands stacked, then do some pile shuffle.
It would be too predictable so MtGO might have its own technic.
I am pleased to read by the support that it is "true random". I am sure it is not, and I am sure there is some deep mechanic involved to manipulate the issue of the game, or make it harder for the sake of the thrill (would be insane if it were true).

So I don't know what to expect by posting this here, rather than ask the support for some explanation, if there is a dev that can tell me how the shuffler is done, and I am not building weird theories.
Also I would mention that it has been a long-time problem on MtG Arena, where there was a manipulation by the software at the start of the game to give one of the two best hands, then the game goes.
But once there is some progress in the ladder or any event (eg 7 victories straight), the software starts to put a handicap to the player.
It has been debunked a while ago, and made me leave MtG Arena for several reasons, this one being one of them.

So, how to address that ? Should I reduce a lot the lands in my deck, to forces MtGO to give me decent starting hands, and play like that ?
Or maybe have some decent discussion about it, in contrary of MtG Arena, when there was no communication for months ?

8 lands in 20 draws is 40%. That's about what your land % should be.
I obviously forgot to list my deck, that is Kuldotha Red in pauper, with 17 lands.
The lands are like 28% of the deck, not 40% :)

I would agree for a more conventional number of lands (~23)
