Confirmed Riders of Gavony glitch

When Riders of Gavony comes into play, you get to choose a creature type. All human creatures YOU control have protection from creatures of that type. However, currently Riders of Gavony is giving protection to ALL humans, including my opponents' humans.

i have played riders of gavony
and i name "monkey" as the creature type
but human creatures control by opponent also got protection from monkey right away
it's so weird
can the staff fix this bug?
