But why is the other banlist infinitely better and addresses so many issues with the direction the format was being taken? It even gets rid of Deadpool unifying MTGO and paper formats for the most part. I don't care about any of the drama but if these banlists are a sign of things to come for the format with each group then I would strongly prefer this banlist: https://www.mtgdc.info/banned-restricted

Agreed for deadpool, but the rest of this banlist is an absolute catastrophe.

I don't understand, do we want a format filled with 3+ decks playing all the best stuff? Isn't the format already prone to that due to the singleton nature and everyone wanting to play the best cards? Do we want an over bloated banlist filled with pointless cards too afraid to make any real change? I want a minimalist banlist that isn't afraid to take risks. I want real solutions to multicolor decks aside from just repeatedly banning the best cards, which are in my opinion key to the format's identity. To me the mtgdc banlist represents hope for real change and growth of the format in the future while the RC list seems to represent another stagnent format bogged down with nonsensical bureaucracy. Again I have no interest at all in the drama behind all this but judging strictly based on the merit of the lists and what they represent I would have to once again say that I much prefer this one: https://www.mtgdc.info/banned-restricted
