More Info Needed Opponent failed to find a land with a fetch

Ancillary to this, but may be somehow related...
I use a Field of Ruin to destroy an opponent's nonbasic. He searches his library and finds a basic to put on the field.
I am presented with my entire library from which to choose a card, not just the basic lands. In the spirit of fair play, I choose a basic land. It does not go onto the battlefield. But it is the next card I draw, so apparently it either goes to the top of my library, or it's just a repeating coincidence. This has happened more than once, but I haven't noted the game numbers. When it happens again, I will, in case the OP's issue gets fixed, and it doesn't fix Field of Ruin.

This happened to both myself and my opponent in match ID 283705401. Happened to me in game 1 and him in game 2.

This or something very similar happened to me yesterday.

I cast Emrakul and when playing my opponents turn, I cracked a fetch land and failed to find. When I did that, their full library still displayed, but there were no legal lands to select, and clicking ok wouldn't allow you to leave or stop attempting to find a land. I was forced to concede the game as the only way to move on.
