Could Not Reproduce Opponent able to grab cards from sideboard using Karn while controlling with Emrakul

My opponent was able to grab my legion extruder from my sideboard using my Karn, the Great Creator then use it to kill my Karn while controlling me with Emrakul, the Promised End. They also grabbed my disruptor flute from my sideboard when controlling me again in the same game. I lost the match because of it. This same issue was marked un-reproducible the last time I had it, but it has come up 2/2 times that I've been in the situation. Is it possible that the bug requires that specific cards are in the sideboard or that I have the sideboard viewer open before being controlled for this bug to happen? I was playing the same deck list both times and I believe I had the "view sideboard" menu open both times as well. I could not get a screenshot/video because replays are disabled. From memory, other cards on board included trinisphere, ensnaring bridge, the underworld cookbook, and a bunch of others that I can't remember.

I have had the same issue happen to me. It was in game number: 928225948. I tried replicating the issue in a private match but was unsuccessful. Did this issue also happen to you in a Modern League?

This just happened to me and I lost the match because of it- Modern League. Event # 288030488. I had exactly (1) artifact in exile (Disruptor Flute) and my opp -2'd Karn and chose 'Yes' so he only should've been able to grab that Disruptor Flute- INSTEAD my opp grabs Tormod's Crypt FROM MY SIDEBOARD which screws me out of the game.
