Not A Bug Ob Nixilis, Unshackled + Opposition Agent

Ob Nixilis reads "Whenever an opponent searches their library, that player sacrifices a creature of their choice and loses 10 life."
Opposition Agent reads "You control your opponents while they’re searching their libraries."
When an opponent searches while I control both, Ob Nixilis' ability does not proc, as if I am the player searching.
Opposition Agent does not make ME search opponent's library, it makes me control my opponent while THEY search.
To me, this implies Ob Nixilis' effect should proc. If I am mistaken and this is not a bug, please let me know.

This being labeled as not a bug is incorrect based on my understanding. If you control Ob Nixilis, Unshackled and Opposition Agent you steal any tutors, and that opponent should be eating an Ob Nixilis, Unshackled trigger for 10 life.

There is a ruling on Ob Nixilis, Unshackled saying that you searching your opponent's deck doesn't trigger the ability, but the ruling on Opposition Agent specifically calls out that you are controlling your opponent like with Mindslaver, not searching their library instead of them.
  • Ob Nixilis’s first triggered ability won’t trigger if you search an opponent’s library or if an opponent searches another player’s library.(2014-07-18)
  • While controlling an opponent, you make all choices and decisions for that player. However, because the control effect is limited to while they're searching their libraries, it's unlikely the player will be allowed to make any decisions other than what to find with the search.(2020-11-10)
It's not as strong a reference, but this video calls out this interaction around the 16 minute mark.
