Necropolis Fiend's activated ability always assumes X=0 and doesn't let the player change it. I've tried the following things:
- Click on the Fiend, add the mana.
- Float the Mana, Click on the fiend
- Repeatedly activate the fiend, changing targets/mana used.
I've gotten it to work exactly once at random, but i honestly wouldn't be able to replicate it.
