I essentially just want to thank daybreak for the win-a-box sealed events we just had at the end of season 2!
It's great to be able to spend the leftover QPs for us who didn't get all to an even 40 (I earned 60 and played one showcase), and playing a sealed event for a whole box is also super cool, even if the price point for non-qp entry were a bit steep considering the low current prices of lotr cards and booster packs. Another friend of mine had a similar amount to play the last-chance event, but doesn't care much about the invites, so paying 300 play points in addition to the QPs for the last-chance events isn't attractive. The qp-only entry worked very well for people in his position as well!
Big thanks to whoever came up with the idea of a QP-based fixed-round event with decent prizes! Not everyone cares about invites enough to play out a 10-round event to earn one, or don't feel like grinding out the extra 20 needed for another full event!
