As it stands LCQs are too close together. While lcqs are not beloved and borderline unhealthy, it doesn’t really seem like they are going anywhere. I think there’s a way to at least make it easier on the playerbase.
As it stands all the lcqs start after all the showcases are over. I think lcqs would be better if each format’s lcqs took place the week after that formats last showcase.
There is an entire week break between the last two pairs of showcase formats. I think that instead of 4 formats worth of showcases in 72 hours, mtgo could instead feature back to back weeks where 2 formats have their lcqs within the same timespan.
I don’t currently see any logistical problem with spreading out the lcqs this way. In fact, I think this is healthier and more reasonable for people looking to play all or most of the lcqs.
