I was redirected here from support MTGO help, went through all troubleshooting suggested. This issue is going on for last couple of weeks or so. Laggy games with: wating for server on the steps, sometimes I can't even log back in, saying: MTGO is under maintenece, when it's clearly not. When installing update, takes unusally long. It looks like the problem begins during certain times. I discovered that during 8am - cca 15-16pm CET it is ok. However, when we move to let's say 17pm-21pm CET the lags start happening. On weekends usually whole day. I discussed this issue with more EU players and they experience similar problems. On Discord the official MTGO mod suggests that: "there's some routing point that traffic between Daybreak and US east/Europe/South America pass through that gets jammed up during peak hours or has something else wrong, but daybreak doesn't have a way to verify that". - I can verify that, during peak hours, the game is for me unplayable. Not a problem on my side. Internet connection checked several times. Still ok.

You may need to try routing through a West Coast U.S. VPN, as there's (obv) nothing Daybreak can do about this issue.

How come that 6 months ago there was no such issue? I spent a lot of money on the game and now I should spend more just to be able to play it? Come on.. There should be something they can do.

It was an issue 6 months ago as well. I agree that having to use a VPN can be frustrating, but it really does solve most connection issues snd they’re pretty cheap these days.
