I was playing Tireless Tribe vs MonoR Kuldotha. Every time tried to cast Hydroblast to counter a Kuldotha Rebirth or a Bushwhacker I could choose the option to counter but couldn't click con the Cast button.

Testing applied: Game state reproduction with different red spells that includes a kicker or an additional cost.
Test Results: Hydroblast was cast and resolved as intended against all red spells tested including Kuldotha Rebirth and Goblin Bushwhacker.
I would try to clear cache to see if that can help or even do a clean installation following the link below.

A known bypass for the issue with spells giving many effect options is to select and unselect the bottom option unlocking the cast button.
