Not A Bug Greasefang, Okiba Boss's ability - Vehicles cannot be crewed before attacks

So I built a Greasefang deck, and played it like you would normally; put vehicles in the graveyard, then get them back at the beginning of combat. One small issue, MTGO does the stack trigger, puts the Vehicle on the board with haste, then goes right to declare attackers with no chance to actually crew the hasted Vehicle you put on the board.

I can't crew it before it goes to declare attackers, and I can't crew it during declare attackers, so Greasefang's ability is actually just useless. I could not get this to work properly. Is this a bug, or am I overlooking something?

The Game ID I encountered this is: 878317978 (Event # is 268772041 , unsure which one is needed)

Here is a video of me recreating the issue in Solitare mode:
Steps to reproduce:
  1. Play until you can get Greasefang, Okiba Boss on the field.
  2. Put a vehicle card in your graveyard.
  3. Proceed to Begin Combat.
  4. Greasefang, Okiba Boss's ability is put on the stack.
  5. Target the vehicle in your graveyard.
  6. It returns to the field with haste.
  7. MTGO will proceed directly to declare attackers, giving no chance to crew said vehicle. You cannot crew the vehicle in declare attackers, therefore making the ability useless.

Nevermind; someone informed me that you have to manually put a stop in the Before Combat step for Greasefang to be able to crew vehicles. Still, weird that it doesn't auto-stop.

Modo doesn't assume you want to do anything, and will always do, or not do, exactly as you instruct it to do in terms of stops. This can be extremely useful in terms of streamlining your stops around how you play, but at the same time can also cause game losing mistakes if you don't have the proper stops required by your deck set up.
