Not A Bug Duel Commander bug

how do i change the settings for the command zone? cards like memory lapse or unsummon, the client doesnt give me an option to return to hand and instead goes to CZ. Is this bugged or why do the commander games do this????

Those replacement effects are controlled by toggles that you can change whenever you have priority by clicking on your commander and then selecting the replacement effect you want to change. The default each game is 'yes, go to hand' and 'no, don't go to library'.

that's actually not true as default. my thalia got bounced into play and went straight to my CZ, it never gave me the option to go straight to hand. i had also not mess with any settings because i had no idea those toggle settings existed

It is indeed true. Unless you change the toggle yourself the default is 'yes, go to hand' and 'no, don't go to library', and even if if you do change the toggle yourself completely by accident it reverts back to the default during the next match.

This can easily be demonstrated by changing the toggles, conceding, and starting a new game. The toggles revert back to their default positions.

whatever is happening in game, theres some type of bug in the CZ. just ran into a possible bug with COmmand Beacon?
