Any plans to add some missing old-school stuff?

A couple of the more obscure cards from the early expansions from Arabian Nights up to Alliances weren't included in the Masters Edition set releases.

Like for example...
Season of the Witch (!)
Initiates of the Ebon Hand
Soldevi Adnate
Agent of Stromgald
Fatal Lore
Keeper of Tresserhorn
Library of Lat-Nam
Misfortune
Lim-Duls Paladin (!)
Mind Bomb (!)
Wand of Ith (!)
Backdraft (!)

The list of missing things is even longer than this (doubt anyone would miss some of the real stinkers, but a few are quite playable).


Don't think a lot of those would see play, except in some niche Commander decks, but Season of the Witch would be really sweet for Mono B Devotion piles for example. And Blasphemous Act players will love Backdraft. ;-)

I was just looking for this card “spiteful repossession”, and it’s got a red border on it in mtgo. It’s from streets of new capenna commander.

Google machine says that set was released in 2022 —nearly half a decade ago.

Where on the roadmap is adding this card? I’d like to add this to a deck soon. Thanks

Can we please get Soldevi Adnate and meep added to MTGO.

The Meep (a favorite card within my Commander playgroup) and all Sonic cards are a no-go due to licensingconcerns.

Soldevi Adnate & Nature's Chosen were printed pre-Mirage - all cards from that era are off limits to us unless WotC decides to reprint them with new art.

Another much older card from Homelands: Koskun Falls. I don’t seem to see it anywhere. It’s like a black version of Propaganda or Ghostly Prison so would be useful for commander.

I think that falls under Tony's explanation of "pre-Mirage... cards from that era are off limits to us unless WotC decides to reprint them with new art."

So the Sonic cards are for sure a no go with the licensing or it’s just an issue that needs to be resolved out between Wizards & Sega? Or it’s downright that there is no digital version allowed in the licensing ?

WotC would need to make SLX versions of them like they have with these previous SL cards for modo to be able to get them.

Could we get the 5th edition versions of the Fallen Empires storage lands? I've always found them neat, and since they got new art for 5ed I think they should avoid any art-related issues?
They are also premodern legal cards not currently available on the client, though I suspect they aren't particularly playable.

I would like to request Coastal Breach as well, I think the card is quite playable.

I was surprised to not see Soraya the Falconer on MTGO when I was trying to put together a Premodern Bird deck. I'm posting this here rather than competitive requests because the deck probably isn't any good, but I might think that some people would like it for Commander. My guess is that it's art licensing that's the problem as mentioned many times in this thread, and it's absurdly unlikely that the card will ever see a reprint due to the mention of banding, so I guess there's nothing to be done except try to somehow someday get another way to work around the art licensing issue.
I'm just a little biased towards this card since I had one as a kid, but that was back before Falcon was merged into Bird. When I found out about that merge I someday hoped I might get to use it because it became a whole lot more useful.
