1. Ovinize [Spell] (Targeting "Changeling Outcast" )
2. Spellstutter Sprite [Spell]
3. Kiln Fiend [Spell] (CMC 2)

Outcome:

1. After "Ovinize" was resolved, "Changeling Outcast" lost all abilities (including "Changling") and was greyed out accordingly.
2. "Spellstutter Sprite" resolved, and its Triggered Ability was added onto the stack targeting "Kiln Fiend" (CMC 2)

Expected outcome:

• After the amount of Faeries had been reduced to 1, The Triggered Ability of "Spellstutter Sprite" should not have any legal targets as Kiln Fiend has a CMC of 2.

It was a surprise to me too, but removing the Changeling ability does not actually remove the creature types, and vice versa - go figure!
