Could Not Reproduce Casting Fierce Guardianship from exile wont let me cast it for free

In game 877606140 I played Praetors Grasp and took Fierce Guardianship from my opponents library. I had my commander Malcolm im play and opponent casted noncreature spell. I wanted to cast the exiled Fierce Guardianship for free, but when i clicked the card, no option to choose if i want to cast it for free or to pay 2U showed and i had to pay 2U. I think this is a bug

I remember something similar happening to me with a free spell when playing Prosper, but in solitaire testing this interaction appears to work correctly. I could easily be convinced that this is only reproducible only in a multiplayer game though since some bugs that occur in a multiplayer setting are fully functional in 1v1.

thanks for reply. It was multiplayer game, so its possible. Im a bit sad, i searched the card to have free interaction and lost due to not being able to cast it

Yeah, the devs could easily look at the game you provided and see that you weren't able to cast it like you should have been able.

We were able to get a prompt to cast the spell without paying the mana cost when the commander was on the field
Summary: We could not reproduce the issue where we did not get a prompt to cast the spell without paying the mana cost.

We did get the option to cast the spell from exile without paying when we exiled cards like Deadly Rollick and Fierce Guardianship with Praetor's Grasp, and the commander was on the field.
