Confirmed Cannot activate Ninjutsu in Block step

It doesn't allow me to click Kaito in Block step. I can only activate its Ninjutsu ability in the Damage step after damage is done. It used to work fine before today's update. Happened in both game 2 and 3 of the match. See the following screenshots:

I can confirm that this bug also happened to me in a Pioneer League.
I can confirm that during the Block phase (i.e. before damage) activating the Ninjutsu (on multiple creatures with Ninjutsu) did not work.
I'd like to add that ninjutsu during the Block phase worked when the opponent did have a blocker (i.e. a creature) on the field.

Testing applied: Attacked with Copper Myr, during the correct phase (just after declaring blockers) activated Kaito's Ninjutsu ability, selecting Copper Myr as the target.
Test Results: Copper Myr was returned to the hand and Kaito was put onto the battlefield as intended.

I just played a Pioneer Tournament Practice match 40 minutes ago I confirm the bug is still happening (see game ID below).
I'd like to highlight that the bug does not always appear. Based on my thoughts, the bug does not appear when the opponent has a creature "theoretically" being able to block (meaning when the usual forced stop comes where you can choose creatures to block). If no creature exists to block or all creatures are tapped, I have yet to be able to activate ninjutsu during the block phase (before combat damage phase such that my ninjutsu creature actually does damage).

can you test without any creatures on opponent's side? multiple players have reported this bug and it does seem like its only happening when there are no creatures being able to block. you should be testing all the scenarios, you can't just test 1 case and it's not even the same case and say "i cannot reproduce".

I'm running into the same issues, It seems it works as intended if there are any untapped creatures, and if I can able to begin paying for a cost of a spell or put a trigger on the stack it returns to functioning as intended.

When tested with only a single creature in play this bug is definitely reproducible in solitaire.
