In Planning Can we turn on replays.

I like watching replays to get a good sense of the way I play out a game as well as opponent's choices. I sometimes forget the commanders my opponents play and whether or not my deck is either to powerful, or not enough power when playing previous opponents. The replay is a most useful tool, and it seems as though turning off the replay is something indefinite as opposed to actually fixing the problem. I have had several games as of recent that were absolute monsters, and I also cannot revisit those.
Another thing. If replays ever get turned back on, what's to happen with the games played while replays were off?
I seem to remember accumulating a huge games played/won record and losing my overall record twice when mtgo tried to redo something. I just got back to 2000 wins and fear that when mtgo tries to fix something my overall record will once again reset to 0.

2000 wins isn't easy and is extremely time consuming. If I had to guesstimate it is more between 4-5000 wins. I cannot even show that off because mtgo fixes stuff and will reset wins and losses from time to time.

Replays are a fun and interesting tool for Magic the Gathering Online. Not being able to study up takes away a certain aspect of the game that is rewarding to me as a player so I would appreciate if you MTGO can find a way to fix the lag issues as well as allow us to have our replays.

I love content on replays as well. A couple of YouTube channels have games commentated on using the replay function and I am sure turning the function off all together is not helping out others in the community as well.

I believe I've read elsewhere (either here in the Forums, or in the Discord) that those games will NOT be available for replay.
What I haven't seen is whether or not Daybreak is sure the Replays are affecting the lag, or they just suspect it may be.

We expect replays to be turned back on soon, but do not currently have an ETA.

Any games that were played since the replays turned off will not have been recorded, so those games will not be available for viewing.

I am unsure what you are referring to when it comes to wins, as those are never wiped from the system from a backend perspective.

appreciate the feedback. I am unsure specifically when wins and losses have reset to 0. It has happened to my account twice, however. I do not know what causes it. Maybe after an update though.

Hi there:

I am wondering about replays - will they be turned on again at some point? Torbin's last message(above) from March 31st of this year said that they were hoping to get it back on soon, but I haven't seen anything about it since then.
I'm hoping they will get turned on again at some point, though certainly the game play running properly is far more important than the replays in the short term.
Any word on this?
Thanks,

Mark Chalice
