Not A Bug Bug: Shalai and Hallar as Commander

Hello!
I've discovered a potential bug in MTGO. I currently have a commander format deck with Shalai and Hallar as my Commander.

Their effect reads, "Whenever 1 or more +1/+1 counters are put on a creature you control, Shalai and Hallar deals that much damage to target opponent."
The damage is calculating correctly, however it is not registering as Commander damage as I believe it should. I've ran several solo matches in order to confirm and this issue is consistent.

This is not a bug. Commander damage is only counted when is a Combat Damage.

Only Combat Damage counts towards Commander Damage as per rule 104.3j.

"104.3j In a Commander game, a player who’s been dealt 21 or more combat damage by the same
commander over the course of the game loses the game. (This is a state-based action. See rule
704. See also rule 903.10.)"
