Automatic “yes” to play first after the die roll

Please, add an option in settings to allow the client to automatically press “yes” to “play first” if you won the die roll.

During a game, the die roll is already automatic and 99,5% of the players will always choose “yes” to play first if he/she won the die roll. After 15 years of magic online, I think I have never pressed the “no” option when asked if I want to play first after winning die roll.

If the most common conduct for the vast majority of players is always saying “yes”, there’s probably no need to ask the question… which means an option to make the answer automatic if the right path towards a better experience.

I'd be all for this as long as it was implemented in a way where the default on a fresh client install was to ask the player every time like it currently does. It could be one of the checkable options in the 'Other Duel Settings' within the 'In-Duel Settings' of the options menu.

I would say that playing second is still the superior strategic choice in some scenarios in both limited and constructed up to this day. I feel inducing that automatic yes is an option would induce less advanced player into thinking that it is a viable way to play the game and thus reduce people incentive to think about the game by themselves.

The option is simple:

• "Always Yes"
• "Always No"
• "Ask Every Time (Default)"

And for the record, there was a time when the game was much slower than it is today, that drawing first was often the optimal strategy except in the fastest of aggro decks. Control or combo decks would virtually *never* play first, and even some aggro decks would opt to draw first because making the control player be down by one card was huge in certain matchups.
