Since some time ago, when I try to enter any event in "Premier Events" category, I get an error stating "This event is limited to certain Regions". On the Premier Play page (https://www.mtgo.com/premier-play) there's a list of countries in which players cannot recieve prizes, but it doesn't say anything about not being able to participate. I filed a support ticket regarding that, but they just answered that "Some event types, such as Leagues & Queues, are open to all players while Scheduled Events may be restricted", which is not a terribly useful answer.
I assume this is done because there's no way of awarding cash prizes to these regions, but I can't even enter events that don't assume any cash prizes ot qualifiing for real torunaments, like Challenges or Phantom Sealed. What's the idea behind that? They only have in-game prizes (PPs, packs) just like regular leagues.
And in case of events that hypothetically have cash prizes, why can't I play in them but don't recieve said cash prizes? It would mean that I can spend my QPs on a qualifier event not looking to qualify for anything, just try win a bunch of digital boosters and play points. It worked before, can we please change back? Thank you.
