The modal options popped up but the "cast" button did not light. I could not choose to destroy anything, but once the Nadu resolved the destroy side worked.

This has happened a couple of times but when I try to counter a spell it just doesn't let me cast the counter side. I was trying to counter a Nadu and my opponent had 12 cards in their graveyard. Any help/additional information would be appreciated. I can't figure out how to attach a photo to...
